» A special meeting of the above i. Council was held this morning at >4 10.80 o'clock, at the Library Build.Tings. Present— The a.ayor (G. jKNye), Crs Westwood, Osborne, Henand Border. ~~ The following resolutions were passed:— Proposed by Cr B rder, seconded by the Mayor, That the usual honorarium of £10 be paid to Mr T. P. William?, late Mayor, for W past year's services. Proposed by Or Border, seconded by Or Westwood, That the Mayor, George Nye be empowered to sign ♦• cheques in place of T. P. Williams, the late Mayor. Proposed by Or West wood, seconded by Or Oaborne, That the fees payable for the Registration of every description of dogs within the Borough of Foxton for the year 1896 be 5s per dog and that the Registration office be the Police Htation, Foxton.
