The Circus.

Messrs Fitzgerald Bros.' Circus has come and gone, but during its temporary stay it excited more than the usual amount of interest on the part of both old and young. The performance, which may at once be stated to be the best and moat honest show yet brought to this town, was attended by close on 800 person and at the prices charged, viz., four and three shillings, ..the management had nothing to regreT~~~ for having visited us. We do not propose to enter into details of the acts, but the horses were wonderfully well trained and well cared for. The acrobatic feats were executed daringly and neatly. The riding was not of so much account except that of a lady performer who stood on the shoulders of a man who in turn strode two horses. The Eclairs simply have no bones we should Bay after witnessing the performance of the crocodile and demon. Mahomet gave his exhibition of learning and the horse does his part exceedingly well. The show is well worth viliting* and last night the audienoe held our view by heartily applauding each feat. The menagerie is well worthy of commendation. There were two or three lions, a splendid specimen of the Bengal tiger, two tigresses, two young tigers, who romped with each other in their cage, a, black panther, and a cage of small monkeys.
