Wedding.
On Saturday a 1 p.m. a marriage ceremony took place at All Saints' Church, the contracting parties being Mary M. the third daughter of our old settlers Mr and Mrs George Trask, and Frank T. the eldest son of Mr Fraser, an old Wellington settler. The bride was aooompanied by the Misses E. and H. Trask, sisters, as bridesmaids, who .wore dresses of green and brown flowered muslin, with hats to match. Mr H. Simpson was best man. Mr Walter Simpson gave the bride away. The Rev. G. Ait kens conducted the service, and Mr England presided at the organ, and played the Wedding March on the procession leaving the church. The bride was attired in brown crepon, with silk trimmings and hat to match; After the ceremony a large num her of friends were entertained at the residence of the bride's parent?. The presents were very numerous and valuable. In the afternoon the young couple left by train for Wellington. A large number were present to wish them goodbye, and rice was showered thick and fast.
