* Gorton & Son's Stock KEPOitT. Bulls, 7th November, 1895. During the last 9 days we have held sales at Marton, Feiiding, Sansou and Waituna. Small entries came forward at Marton, but prices realized were good. Our yards at Feildiog were filled with both cattle and sheep. The sale opened rather dull but the bidding became more spirited as it went on and at and after the sale we cleared nearly everything. At Sanion moderate entries came forward aj)d most of the lines were sold, at Waituna in spite of the very wet weather we had our yards well filled and a successful sale, wethers in the wool bringing up to JBs Id. Our quotations are — Marton. Cattle— Fai; cows, £5 11 8 6d; cows, £4. Sheep— Hoggets, 63 to 10a Bd. Feildjng. Cattle— Fat and forward bullocks, £5 10#6d ; for 3 cowsv £& 12s ; 3-yr steers, £4 to £4 ss ; 2^ yr steer?, £8 8s 6d ; yearlings, various prices, from 80s to- 41s ; 18months heifers, £2 7s G(i to £3 ; cows, £2 15s to £8 ; 18-mpnths steers, £2 10s. Sheep—Woolly wethers, 10a 4d to lls Id ; woolly hoggets, various prices, 6s to 103 ; culls, 4s 6d to 5s 9d ; shorn wethers, 7s Id ; shorn sheep, 53 3d. Sanson.
