Dean's Sentence.
Dean has been found guilty on the second charge of perjury in "Swearing that he never purchased poison. The defending counsel raised the plea that he had been granted a royal pardon, which included this charge.
This contention was overruled.
The prisoner was sentenced to five yoara 1 on the first charge, and 14 years' on the second, the sentences to be concurrent.
Dean was cool and collected, and, said, "Thank you, your Honor !'*'• whe.i thd Judge passed sentence, The conspiracy trials have heen. adjourned until Tuesday ,— PreBS Association.
