« Gobton & Son's Stock Report. Bulls, Oct. 8. Our stock sales during' last week were held afc Feilding, Sanson, and Waituna. At Feilding the sale was a particularly successful one. Good entries of stock, good attendance, spirited bidding and satisfactory prioes, and- all the sheep were sold, and all the cattle excepting one pen. At Sanson the entries were small and bidding not so spirited. At Waifcuna moderate entries and a successful sale, most of the stock being sold. Our quotations are ;— • Cattle. Feilding— Fat bullocks, small £5 8s 6d ; fat cows, £4418 to ti 10s ; 2| year steers, £8 17s 8d ; 2 year £2 16s; year steer?, 85s to £2; calves, 28a. Saneon— Cows, £3 16s 6d ; year 80s to 88s ; weaners, 7s 6d < to 255. ' Waituna-Cows, £2 5 3 to £2 12s 6d ; milkers, £3 103 to £4 17s 6d ; > 2J year steers, £3 10a ;, mixed yearlings, B«r6d to 38s 6d ; calves, 16s 6d. Sheep, Feilding — Hoggets, several lines, at various prices from 5s lid to 10a. 3d ; wethers, 9s 3d to 12s Id ; fat ewes, 10s ; shorn sheep, 63 6d to 7s , mixed woolly sheep, 10s 3d. Sanson— -Hoggets, empty to good, 81 6d to Bs* Waituna— Fat wether?, 12*; fat Btap» 123 8d; hogget?, various prioes from. 63 to 9a.
