fiuiabs, Sept. 21. Fair amount of atok cattle fdrward at our Awahuri sale yesterday, more cattle than was advertised. The at* tendance was good, and bidding spirited, resulting in a good sale, the yards being nearly cleared of everything. At Bulls last week more stock than were advertised came forward. Cattle sold Well but sheep not so well. Our quotations are 1— Cattle. Bullb.— Fat bullocks, small, £6 10s to AQ Ha { fat coWs, &i Is j 2-year steers, £3 163; 18 months steers, &2 17s 6d ; 18-monthg heifers, £2 2s 6d. Awahuri.- Fat bullocks, J66 7s 6d ; forward cows, £3 10a to £$ lla ; cows in calf, £3 10s ; 2^ year steers, £S 7s 6d ; milkers, £4 5s to £5 15s 6d ; 2-year steers, £3 Os 8d ; yearlings and weaners, 80 to 85s ; calves, 16s 6d to 18s. Sheep. Bulls.— Fat sheep, 83 6d to 9s 8d ; hoggets, 5s to 6s 9d. Awahuri, — Hoggets, several lines, various prices from 5s 9d to 9s 8d ; ewe hoggets, 8s 4d ; store wethers, 9a sd ; forward ewes, 8s Id ; fat 1 wethers passed in st 18s.
