Tbjß Speaker took the chair at 8.80 p.m. Leave of absence for three weeks was granted to Mr Oeorge Hutchison, and for one week to Mr Carncross on account of illness, also for one week to Mr O'Regan, beoause of family bereavements. The amendments mada by the Legislative Council in the Wages Attachment Abolition Bill were agreed to by 80 to 24.
