Gorton & Son's Stock Report.
Bulls, Ist May, 1895. Wgsggret to say we cannot report any jjurobvement at' onr two recent saleajWFeilding and Marton. We had jj^Qd entries at both sales. At Feilding we . certainly sold most of the stock but the prices were low. At Marton we had the old story re* peated over again of nearly twice the quantity of stock coming forward to what was advertised, and we had to resort to Mr Beckett's courtesy again, to the use of his yards as well as our own. Had we known what was coming, accommodation would have been provided at our own yards. Our, Marton sale was one of the dullest we have held for a long time, we only sold 5 pens of sheep and about 20 head of cattle. Our quotations are i— t,. ., , . ; <3axtlb.
