The Japanese are organising for the march to Pekin. They have evacuated the advanced positions near Wei-hai-wei. The villagers in the vicinity of Chefoo are killing their women and children by choking them, ancL. afterwards committing suicide. The cause of this is attributed to fear that they will fall into (hi hands of the Japanese, and be rob- £ jeoted to torture. /
