Resolved that there TO nothing to offer her at present* Oroaa Bridge— Mr Sansott requested the architect to state whether" he had inspected the building tinoe V it had been taken over. It was complained that the place was roughly built, and that green instead of seasoned timber bad been used* Ml? Aitkina stated* that he Bad inspected the building and had found that the total number of boards that' had shrunk in grain was five. Tbera was no doubt whatever that the whole of the timber had been thoroughly seasoned for three months . prior to being used. Mr SansOTi said he was of opinion that .the timber was not properly seasoned by any means, notwithstanding that the Board had paid extra so that if might be seasoned. Carnarvon — Letter from Committee r* shelter shed, and pointing oat the urgent necessity for thd erection of stich a struetura.— Resolved to grant £1 for £1 up to jB7. — Chronicle.
