Friday, September 28. -The Speaker took the chair at ISO p.m. The amendments made by the Legislative Council in the School Attendance Bill were agreed to. On the question of reading . the Consoli Bill a third time, Sir Robert Stout, Dr Newman, Messrs Buddo, Button, Earnshaw, Crowther, Buchanan and Captain Russell urged objections. The third reading was carried by 81 votes to 22, and the Bill was passed. The Native Land Court Bill was moved for committal and the debate was adjourned. The House adjourned at 12.45 a.m.
