Gorton & Sox's Stock Report. Bulls, 12th Sept. At the sale of Mr W. Reid's cows at Makino siding last week we sold 20 under the hammer at very fair prices, varying from £4 10s to £,). I They were good cows, but, owing to shortness of feed, they were in low condition. At Bulls yesterday we held a very brisk sale. The attendance of buyers was good, bidding spirited, and most of the Jots were in consequence sold under the hammer, leaving little to be sold after the sale, which has lately been the chief business of the auctioneers. The prices realised were satisfactory. Quotations — Cattle— Fat cows, £5 10? 6d to £6 12s; fat heifers, £6 lis 6d ; 2£-year steers, £4 Is ; 2* year heifeiv, £3 15s ; 18 month mixed, £3 Os Gd ; yearlings, mixed, £2 3s to £2 10s ; weaners, £1 6s to £1 13s ; milkers, £5 ; cows in low condition, £2 4s 6d. Sheep— Hoggets, various prices, 8s 9d to 10* 3d ; fat sheep, 9s Gd ; empty ewes, 6s Gd. ' \
