THE GAME.
In the first five minutes play for Foxton Bobinsou got away with the ball, passed it to Young who seoured a try. After that the game was very even up to the call of half-time, Paiaka having the Foxton men on the defence. The second spell was even for half the time when the Foxton men began to obtain advantage by their weight, and when time was called the game was 12 to love, all trys. Two of these were secured by Barber and ono by A. Shadbolt. The Foxton team was much heavier than their opponents, averaging 11 stone, which told against the light after a time. The Paiaka team played a first- class game all through but were handicapped owing to want of weight, though with stronger backs they would be equal to the Foxton team. The game was played without a hitch, and the line umpires, Messrs Bradcock and 0. Garduer had an easy task. Mr Bell was the referee, who gave general satisfaction.
