They were gGjikup by Miss Holmes, and Miss Maud Williams was stage manager. Various pictures from Punch" were illustrated and were made to look very attractive with the aid of limelight and so on. Several Tableaux 'faeYe also presented with beautiful effect; Among the performers Collins, Mrs A. Pearce, ' MW-'Mk Russell, Mrs H. Crawford, Mrs Fell and the Misses Williams (A), Williams (of Hawkes Bay), Newton, Gibson, Duncan, Izard, Gore, H. Johnston and Rose, and_, Messrs Patterson. Hadfield, Tri^~sSj^inson, Newton. Mt3 Jotidston Stewart wore grey brocade -fta'd Lady Augusta Boyle, a pretty pibk^ satin.gown, trained and with epaulettes' of lace. Other guests- were . Williams, daughter of Mr T. C. Williams, was the only debutante, and she wore a lovely gown of cream \ satin with trails of flowers. Miss Pearce is to give an "At Home " to-night, and Lady Augusta Boyle has issued a number of invitations for an "At Home " for next Monday night to be given in honour of her birthday. BtOKA.
