The American an fcl- Anarchist Bill was shelved, although the report of the Judiciary Committee was favourable to it. . Sir J. Paunceforte, British Ambassador to the United States, and Mr Greshara, Secretary of State, have arranged that 600,000 dollars compensation shall be paid to the Canadian sealers under the award of the Behring Sea Commission.
