CONDENSED CABLEGRAMS.
London. The Housa of Commons has held an all-night sitting. Bir William Tlarcourfe refused <\o disclose the Government's intention regarding the veto exercised by the House of Lords. The Irish and Welsh members raised obstructions to Supply motions as a protest against the action of the Lords demanding that the Government shall make known what course they intend to take with respect to the repeated rejection of Government measures by the House of Lords. Mr J. Morley ileprecated raising a question of such magnitude on a trumpery side issup. Uv P. A. Chance, M.P. for Kilkenny, has resigned owing to a quarrel among the Irish members. There is a eerioiis split in the Irish Party owing to the Government postponing action against the House of Lords. The majority, including Mr Justin McCarthy, are in favour of waiting. The Times considers that an Im perial mail service entirely independent of the outside world would be a solid benefit in either war or peace.
