CRIMINAL SITTINGS. Wednesday, August 8. (Before Mr Justice Richmond.) Frank Masters pleaded guilty to a charge of having committed an in* decent assault upon a little girl aged nine years, on the sth June. The prisoner was sentenced to seven years imprisonment. Reginald Bleckley, who was found guilty on Tuesday ot forgery and uttering, was further remanded for sentence until next morning. A young man named Arthur George Henge pleaded not guilty to a charge of having stolen the, sum of £17 from the person of Elizabeth Allen at Palmerston North on the 10th July. The jury brought in a verdict of not guilty, and the prisoner was discharged.
