Sir W. V. Harcourt's motion for enforcing the closure on the Evicted Tenants Bill was carried by a majority of 43. The Unionists, therefore, refuse to further debate the Bill until it comes up for the third reading. The House of Lords has agreed to the Budget proposals. It is reported that the Argentine Republic have decided to surrender •Tabez Balfour, and that he has been placed on board a British ship for extradition to England.
