Mr Osborne's dale.

On Thursday and Friday next week, Mr Osborne will have an auction sale, conducted by Mr McMillan, at his business premises, Main -street. Mr Osborne has previously indulged the public with the chance of getting goods at their own valuation and has found that the public likes it. At the last sale every line was sold without reserve, though, in some cases the price did not reach half its invoice value, but the agreement having been entered into it wa3 loyally adhered to. Mr Osborne believes that this mode of transacting business has found favour with the buyers and as a oonsequenoa they will eagerly attend the coming sale. Certainly nothing appears fairer than to make a bid for articles you want, there is no need to give more than you think they are worth. We expect to see a " hum " at these two days' sale.
