Gorton & Sox's Stock Report. We held a very successful sale at Marton on the 26th inst. The entries were not large, but many more cattle came forward than were advertised. We sold at and after the sale every pou of sheep, and all the cattle excepting a few milkers. Our quotations are : — Cattle. Yearling and 18-months, mixed, 37s 6d to £2 4s ; 18-month to 2-year steers, £2 12s ; weaners, 27s 6d ; cows, M. Sheep. Wethers, 2 and 4-tooth, 10j 3d to 10d 7d ; 2 tooth, 8s 6d ; breeding ewes, 5s 6d to 7s 9d ; crocks, 2s 6d ; lambs, 6s 6d to 6s 9d.
