Wellington Education Board.

The monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Wednesday. Present— Messrs J. H. Blair (ohaifman), F. H. Fraser, W. A. Fitzherbert, J. Youag, W. C. Buchanan, M.H.R., Rev. J. Paterson. The Board decided to inform the Committee there that Mr Clark must apply in regular form to the Board for the engagement. , , The carpenter was instructed to report as to the necessity for- repairs at Paraparaumu, and on a re<ju«st for a close boarded fence at Pahautanui. The report of the Committee which enquired into the recent digputes at Pahiatua recommended that Mr C. Lee (head master) and Miss Rees (assistant) should teceive three months' notice. The report was adopted.
