Foxton Borough Council.
Last night a special meeting was held of the Borough Council at 7.80 in the Library. Present — The Mayor (T. P. Williams), Crs Jenks, Bradcock, Hamer and McMillan. The following resolutions were passed :— Proposed by Cr Hamer, seconded by Cr Bradcock, That the financial statement of income and expenditure for the financial year 1894-95 be adopted. Proposed by the Mayor, seconded by Cr Jenks, That the names of the following persons be erased from the defaulters list and placed on the Burgess list for the present year :— : Charles Henry Collins, J. T. Fleet, Betsy Lee and Charles Nelson. ' Proposed by the Mayor, seconded by Cr McMillan, That the Burgess 801l as attested be confirmed and shall come into force on the Ist day of June, 1894, signed by the Mayor and Councillors Jenks and Hamer.
