Abraham & Williams' Stock Report.
Our sales for the week were held at Colyton and Palmers ton. At the former, on Tuesday, the class of sheep was generally second-rate. Business was dull at auotion ; but, upon vendors reducing reserves, almost the lot was sold privately. Cattle were in fair demand only. A full muster of sheep came forward at Palmers ton, bidding maintained the moderate tone of the past week, and prices remained unchanged. The bulk of the sheep ohanged hands. Cattle exceeded the advertised numbers considerably. The greater portion was disposed of at prices muoh on a level with last week. Cattle. Colyton : Milch cows, £5 ; heifer in calf, £3 ; weaners, 30s ; fat cows, £4 18s ; store cows and calves, £3 18s. Palmerston : forward bullocks, £5 ; 2-yr Old steers, £3 ; 2£ to 3-year old steers, £4 to £4 7« \ mixed yearlings, $3 3s i weaners, 3QstQ37sCd, s Colyton i Fat wethers, 8b 3d | ewei, various priocß, from la fid to 7d| lambi. 1b 44 to 4s 3d, Falmevßtoni Forward wetners, 8i sd; orossbred wethers up to 6b 6d; shorn lambs, 2b 5d to 4b 4d;onllfl, la; ewei, la lOd to 6a Id ; forward twos, good quality, 7b 7d.
