Gorton & Sox's Stock Report.
Bulls, April 28. Within the last fortnight we have had very full yards at Hunterville, Campbelltown, Marton, and Feilding, but in nil eases the sales have been dull, the chief part of the business being done after the Balas, at prices lower than we have been selling for some time. Good stook changes hands fairly well, but poor stock are unsaleable. Oar quotations are : — ■ Cattle. Huntevville : Fat bullocks, £6 ; fat cowa, £4 15s ; 3-year heifers, £4 7s ; weanen, 25s to 37s 6d. Campbelltown : Forward cows, £3 10s ; 2-year mixed, £2 10s ; weaners, 80s ; calves, 14s. Marton : Yearlings, 30s. Feilding : 2 year heifers, £5 10s to £fi 4s ; forward bullooks, £4 14s ; cowb, £3 3s ; weaners and yearlings, £1 lls to £1 Jss ; weaners, £1 to £1 7a. Sheep. Hunterville : 4 and 6-tooth ewes, 7s 6d to 8s ; forward wethers, 8s 3d to 8s 9d ; 2-tooth wethers, 6s 6d to 7s 9d ; breeding ewes, 43 9d. Feilding: 2-tooth ewes, 9s 3d to 10s ; fat ewes, 7s Id ; fat sheep, 8s ; breeding ewes, 4s 2d to 6s ; forward wethers, 8s 6d ; lambs, 3s 2d to 4s 9d. Pigs— Small, 63 ; porkers, 12s.
