:.—^— -* : — The final match in the Men's Singles was' played off between Mr 0. Robinson (scratch), and Mr Little (half-thirty), on Tuesday afternoon last, the scratch player having a somewhat easy task in disposing of his opponent. The first set fell to Mr Little, who however seemed to play a lifeless game, his service being particularly " off," thongh at times he strove manfully to avert, defeat. The next two sets were gained by Mr Bobinson, whose service was too severe for the other man to deal with. Result 4-t6,-6— 2, 6—3. Mr Robinson is thus the winner of the gentlemen's trophy;
