In Auckland the! Poll is void only 2063 votes being recorded oat of 15,121. Christchurch returns are not all to hand but what are show that a reduction in licences will be carried by a lat ge m»j >rity. D in din is expected to only miss Pruhibiton by 800 votes. Nc-w Pymouih retains Licenses as they are. In Lyttleton a reduction in the f-icensea has been carried.
