Fishing Excursion.
Elsewhere it is notified that thi regular trader the s.s. Queen of th» South intends, weather and circum stances permitting, to run to Eapiii on Friday (to morrow). !>he will leave the wharf at 9 a m and return at 9 p.m., thus giving excursionist* twelve hours sniff of the healthy »ea breeze. The mere mention of such an excursion makes one feel better, and should the weather keep like it has been since Sunday, nothing could be more enjoyable than such a trip. Kapiti is a noted spot for fishing and cod can be hauled up two and three at a time. There in also a splendid spot, just where steamers usually anchor off Kapiti when landing passengers at; Ranga tira point, for Sohnappyi ij » f and thoso fellows do bite most energetically. The fares are very low, but of course lunch must be taken, and the trip should be well patronised. lhe nights are moonlight, and the even ing trip home should be delightful.
