Thirteen Anarchists were arrested on Monday in Paris. The prisons are unable to accomodate any more. Documents found at the domiciles of those arrested show that wealthy families have been in the habit of paying the Anarchists to secure themselves lorn outrage; The Premier, ttignor Crispi, speaking in the Chamber of Deputies in Borne, declared that if necessary the Anarchists and Socialists should be crushed by the bullets of the soldieiy. It is reported in Washington that the Senate has determined to impose a tax of 15 per cent on wool. The Finance Committee of the Democratic section of the Senate has agreed to replace the taxes on coal, iron and sugar, and retain the Income Tax.
