It is hereby publicly notified that a meeting of the above Council will be held in tbe Council Chambers, Sanson, on Wednesday, 14th February, 1894 at 2.80 p.m., to confirm a resolution passed at a Special Meeting held on Wednesday, lOtli January, 1894, striking a Special Rate of one-fifth of a penny in the £ on tbe rateable value of all the rateable properties within the Awahou Riding to provide interest and sinking fund on a loan of £1500, to be raised under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 1886 " and amendments, such rate to be an annually receiving rate for 26 years and to bo payable in one sum on the Ist January in e»ch year.
