Foxton Racing Club.

The Committee of the above Club met at their office last night. Present —Messrs T. P. Williams, Ahem, Little, Trask, Ehodes, W. Robinson, J. Robinson and J. R. McMillan. Mr Williams took the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Proposed by Mr Williams, seconded by Mr Little, That the Autumn Racing Meeting take place on Wednesday 18th April next.— Carried. Proposed by Mr Little, seconded by Mr W. Robinson, That the programme as read by the Secretary for April meeting be accepted aud that the Awahou race take the place of the Forced Handicap. — Carried. The Secretary reported that the following amounts had been paid the winners at the last meeting : — R. Ross. £125; W. Butler, £55; J. Green, £45 ; J. Retter, £25 ; S. Messena, £20 ; G. Modderson, £15 ; J. Prosser, £10 ; W. Jennings, £5 ; W. Homes, £5; F. Tilley, £5; W. Robinson, £5. Total, £315. The programme arranged, and which will bo forwarded today to the Wanganui Metropolitan Club for approval, arranges for the following events :— Flying Handicap, £30; Hurdle Handicap, £40 ; Autumn Handicap, £100 ; Electric Handicap, £30; Welter Handicap, £30; Stewards Handicap, £40 ; Awahou Stakes, £20. Making a total of £290.
