The Salvation Army.
In a week's time the Salvation Army are going to have a " high " time. Staff Captain Holdaway will pay the district a visit on Saturday, accompanied by the Hiroriro's and the Session band. The Hiroriro's would appear to be excellent songsters, but f>>r that wo do not pledge our word. Every one is invited to attend, and the excitement will commence on tho 4th of November and continue to (he 9th. On Tuesday, November 7th, a Fruit and Jelly service will be held at the Foxton barracks. This is a novelty which will be most interestto observe. It U evident that the Salvationists intend to wake this part tf the country up.
