Mr L. D. Nathan, owner of St. Hippo, has accepted a wager of 1000 to 80 about that horse's chance in theM.Z Cup. Response is being well supported in the principle racing centres of the colony for the NZ. Cup. She is now second favorite to St. Hippo at the odds of 100 to 12, Prime Warden being third favorite at 100 to 10.
