Messrs Bridge and Moire coxswained by S. Easton. Messrs Bradcock, Howan, Shad bolt, and Redmond, coxswained by J. Lewis. Rev G. Aitkens and Austin with L. Stansell as cox. Messrs Mcllvride and Shadbolt jr. with W. Rhodes as cox. Messrs Williams and Dudson with Mr Rutherford as coxswain made a good representation of the flax industry. Mr and Mrs Curtis furnished the final boat. The course was from Rutherford's wharf, to Mr Duncan's bend and thence to the boatshed.
