Borough Election.
On Thursday the annual election ot three Councillors for the Borough was held at the Library buildings. Mr T. F. Gibson was the returning officer. Very little excitement was shown during the day, though a large number of the burgesses recorded their votes. It will be seen by the numbers appended below that Messrs Williams, Jenks and Hamer were duly elected.
The numbers polled were :— T. P. Williams ... 87 F. E. Jenks ... 80 W. Hamer ... sfl •T. R. Stansell ... U H. Aldridge ... 41
