All this may sound exceedingly disagreeable and hard-hearted, but the independent and industrious settler has tobe considered even in preference to the idle and vicious of our community. These are lost sight of, too often, in the noise created by these great unwashed, who are at present under the special protection of Messrs Seddon &. Co.
