Friday, Skptemrer 1. The Speaker took the chair at 2 30 p m.

The Bank note Issue Bill was passed through all its stages as also in the Legislative Council.

An Imprest Supply Bi 1 for £258, 500 was put through all its stages.

On the motion of the Premier, the Native Land Court Certificates Confirmation Bill and the Native Lands Validation of Titles Bill were read a second time.

The House went into committee to consider the Cheviot Estate Disposition Bill.

The Bill was reported from committee, and the third loading jidjourned till Tuesday.

Ihe Minister of Lands moved the second reading of the Land for Settlements Bill.

Tlie motion was agreed to after a long debate.

The House adjourned at 1 20 a.m
