» Mi* Swan is asking for the Hansard report of Mr W. C. Smith's speeoh on the Cadman-Rees case for the satisfaction of the jurors — but he wants it as the reporter took it ; not the improved edition. No less than 14,298 registered letters, containing moneys for " consultation " purposes, were sent from this colony addressed to Tattersall's, Sydney, during the year ending 81st March last. Mr Fish is seeking to amend the Licensing Act in the direction of reverting to nominated benches on Magistrates, in the place of elected Committees. — Post. i — —
