Gorton & Sox's Stock Report. Our yards at Marton on Tuesday were well filled with good entries of sheep though only a few pens of cattle came forward. The attendance was good, bidding spirited, and good stock as well ; but purchasers would not touch stock in low condition. Oiu* quotations are — Cattle— Beef, mixed, £6; yearlings, mixed, 395 ; year and 18 month steers, £2 8s ; 2A year heiters, £3 Us. Sheep — 2 to 4 tooth wethers, 12s lOd ; 6 to 8 tooth ewes in lamb, 12s 6d ; breeding ewes in lamb, 8s to 8s 9d ; good lambs, 7s 9d to 8s 8d ; medium, 4s 6d ; forward ewes, 8s sd.
