More Skeletons.

Constable Gillespie informed us that he had received information that some drainers on the Oroua Downs estate had discovered eight skeletons, being those of three adults and five children, laying alongside of them a small axe and bottle. He left this morning to ascertain further particulars. It is not clear in what portion of the estate these remains were found, but if to the west, near the coast line, they are probably the

skeletons of Maories, as very many are constantly being exposed on thesandhills.
