The drawing for the first heat is as follows :—Miss Whyte and Mr Aitkens give Miss Purcell and Mr Steel 15 points ; Mrs Dermer and Mr McVHllan give Miss Burr and Mr Oowles 15 ; Miss E. Symons and Mr Curtis give Miss Williams and Mr Howard half-fifteen ; Miss C. Symons and Mr B. Gower give Mrs Stewart and Mr Potter 15 ; Miss J. Symons and Dr Dermer drew a bye.
