Mysßtois Gokton and Son's ttv,i'oin\ : f* We held the largest sheep sale which has * been held at Feilding last Friday. Over 1400 sheep came forward and thanks to ; the courtesy allowed of using the Alliance yards as well as our own, the sale was got j through with ease and delivery of sheep i quickly given. A few lots were passed in j not realizing the reserves bnt by fur the , largest number were sold, the purchasers : being sixty in number. We had more rams \ thau were advertised and sold nearly all. The prices were on the whole fairly good being better than of late, but still not equal < to what they were a few weeks ago. Our ; quotations are : — Sheep.- 9s 4d to 10s S)s ; Mr Wheeler's ■ 2-tooth Bomney ewes, lfis, f.ui. 18s Cd. Mr Jacob's Ttoniney ewes, mixed nges, 12s ; j Mr Pharaayn's 2-th Romney ewes. l'2s 8d : ! 2-th ewes, lls 7d to 13s fid ; breeding ewes, j various prices, from oft to lls 2d ; fat ; ewes, 10s fid ; lambs, various prices, from j 8s Id to 6s. | Hams.— Bobt.
