Eulls, 18th February, 1898. Gorton & Son report large entries of cattle and sheep at their Camp-

belltown sale yesterday which with the assistance of hurdles were conveniently yarded. The attendance was good and most of the lines sold. Very large entries of sheep came forward at the Bulls Ram and Sheep Fair on Tuesday ; the bidding was not so spirited as usual but a large number of sheep were sold under the hammer as the prices hav^ already been published our quotations now are only for the Campbell town sale.

Cattle — Springing heifers, £'6 17s 6d to £4 14s; cows, £8 7s 6d ; weaners, several lines at various prices from 26a Gs to 355; yearlings, £2 5s 6d to £2 7s 6d.

Sheep — Breeding ewes, fts to 8s Od ; shorn lambs of which there were several lines, 8s Gel to 5s lOd.
