Stock Report.

Bulls. 26th November, 1892. Messrs Gorton and Bon report : — Large entries came forward at our Feilding sale yesterday, which was well attended. The Hawkes Bay ewes arrived in excellent condition and attracted , notice though the bidding for them was not so keen as expected, but all were readily sold during the sale at satisfactory prices. Bidding for local sheep was spirited and we sold all. For cattle business wa; brisk and excepting the fat bul* locks for which there was little demand, we sold a'l. r We had fair entries of sheep at Marton and sold all excepting 2 pens of shorn sheep. Our horse sale at Feilding was well supported as regards entries of horses, but the business done was small only being able to sell a few. Our Quotations are : — FEILDING SALE. Cattle— 3-yr bullocks, £5 Ids to £5 15s ; 2 to 2£-yr steers, £4 5s to £4: 7s 6d : 2yr steers, £3 15s ; cowa and calves, £4 10s 6d ; mixed yearlings and 18-m'onths, £2 13s to £2 16s Gd ; 1-yr to 18-month bulls, 4 guineas to 5£ guineas. Sheep— Gollan's 2- tooth ewes 183, 4-tooth 12s 9d; R. Johnston's 2tooth ewes, 11s 9d to 12s 6d ; woolly hoggets, 14s ; ewes and lambs, 12s to 18s 6d ; fat dry ewes, 10s 9d. * MARTON SALE.
