The Infanticide Case.
There was a painful scene in fche Coroner's Courb afc Sydney on Wednesday during fche inquest upon the baby farming cases. Clarice Makin, a girl of 17, was examined, and declared she was unable to identify the clothing. During her evidence the tliree female prisoners sobbed hysterically. As Mrs Makin was coming into the Court after lunch, she cried- oufc, ' May the ourse of the Almighty fall on that child,' indicating the witness. The female pri- oners had to leave the Court owing to their hysterical condition. Clarice then said she would tell the whole truth, and identified the c'othing.
