Fraser and Wife v. Imrie and Wife.

This slander action came before the Supreme Court at Wellington, yesterday, on an appeal by Mr and Mrs Imrie from the verdict and judgment given against them at the. District Court, at Palmerston North, on the 3rd of November, 1891 . The Supreme Court confirmed the verdict and judgment given in favor of Mrs Fraser and dismissed the appeal and ordered that Mr and Mrs Imrie should pay Mrs Fraser's costs on the appeal, £15 15s, and disbursements. Mr Baker appeared for Mr and Mrs Imrie the appellants, and Mr Jellicoe (instructed by Mr Bay) appeared for Mr and Mrs Fraser the respondents.
