PAIAKA v. SHANNON. The return match between these Clubs was played at Shannon on Saturday last. The visitors were hospitably . entertained before the 'game at the Club Hotel and on the conclusion of the Match at the Albion. Shannon won the toss and eleoted to play with the wind. For some time the play was very even the leather passing from one goal to the other till Ekereia managed to arore a try for Shannon but no goal resulted. Shortly before half time matters were equalised by McPhun getting in for Paiaka but the kick by O. Gardiner tailed owing to the wind. At half time Paiaka with the advantage of the wind kept the ball well in the Shannon's quarters and Clarke secured another try but no goal resulted. Shortly before time ■was called Oswald Gardiner with a ■splendid run secured another try for Paiaka which he converted into a fine goal, the visitors thus winning by nine points to two.
