The Legislative Council.

The Governor received a cable from the Colonial Office on Monday instructing him to accept the advice of Ministers respecting the appointments to the Legislative Council. The Premier will make a statement in the House this afternoon. It is understood the Governor ify prepared to make twelve appointments at once but Ministers refuse at present to state what course they propose to take.
