Manawatu Rowing Club.
A committee meeting was held at Whyte's hotel last night, Present — Messrs Stansell, (in the chair), Towles, T. Nye, Potter, J. Syinohs, and' Shadbolt. The following new members were elected : — Messrs Seymour, A. Strang, W. Strang, F. Shadbolt, and J. Dudson. The. two 1 ' new outriggers were named M iMaire, " and " Kohai." re spectively. It was decided to offer a pair of club jerseys for competition between members elected this season, to be rowed for in about a month's time. Final arrangements were made for the opening procession which will start from the shed at three o'olook on Tuesday next.
