Messrs F. Skinner and I). Gardner ' were the responsible parties for the concert and dance. At the conclusion a dance was held, but, though jOTjr enjoyable to those wh6 scoured a lady partner; the ab» fence of a sufficient number was much regretted. The employers are to be be cengratulated on having found a pleasant, rational, and Creditable way of passing their winter etefcingg.:'
